We absolutely loved our stay! Celmira and her family were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and were safe when we went on excursions (nearby town with Thermal water and little bars and shops (30min walking), and a waterfall (1,5h walking). The food was incredible, we're still talking about it haha. Super chill area, not much to do but relax and enjoy the moment. Stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect length. The property is really small, we were the only guests, which was nice after a few weeks of travelling. Loved the down-to-earth vibe with bucket showers and honest conversations with the hosts.

Located in El Valle and with Playa El Almejal reachable within a few steps, Casa Origen provides concierge services, rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Actually we stayed at Casa Cielo, a wonderful bungalow up the hill which belongs to Casa Origin. In my opinion the best location at the beach El Almejal at the very end. The views are fantastic from the terrace, it’s a super cosy place and has all utilities needed. Alejandro offers exceptional thai-yoga massages and Stephanie does wonderful yoga classes. I can highly recommend to stay there.

La Aldea del Primitivo is located in Nuquí and features a garden. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, room service and organising tours for guests. We had such a lovely stay, this place is absolutely magical. Such a special place on the edge of this beautiful little village and the walk through the river, up the stream and into the jungle made it even more magical. A beautiful cabin, (the photos do not do it justice) and a shower under the stars. Valentina, the host, is so kind and welcoming, she made us feel so at home. Could not recommend this place more if you want simple living off the beaten track. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Located in Bahía Solano, Posada El Acuario offers beachfront accommodation 1.2 km from El Almejal Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The proprietors are lovely, helpful people who are invested in ensuring that their guests have the best possible experience. They arranged a great day hike to view frogs and other wildlife. Of special note, vegan cuisine is not readily available in town so Marta prepared delicious meals for me at a very reasonable cost. It was much appreciated.

Extremely attentive staff. Enrique and Nancy are the Best. They are extremely knowledgeable of tours, the área, etc.

Located in El Valle, Cabañas Arrecifes offers beachfront accommodation 200 metres from Playa El Almejal and provides various facilities, such as a garden and a terrace. Gracias Lorena ! The cabanas are amazing ! We are 50m away from the beach. I can only recommend this place. Lorena is so nice and have a lot of recommandation around El Valle.

Posada Villamaga provides beachfront accommodation in Bahía Solano. Among the various facilities are a garden and a terrace. Certain rooms at the property feature a patio with a garden view. Very good location between the beach and the Pueblo. The room was very nice, everything you needed. The cabana is inside a very cute garden, perfect to be in peace.
