Family-run for over 350 years, this traditional country hotel in Triengen is 8 km from Sursee and 30 km from Lucerne. Each room has a balcony and offers free Wi-Fi. Very friendly people! I came quite last-minute but they had my room ready. It was large with a good bathroom, very clean and a good bed. Included breakfast was way too much for one person, but better too much than too little. Free parking as well. The single-occupancy price was very good for Switzerland standards which made this perfect for me. I cannot comment on regular pricing.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV. Nice simple room with a big meadow in front (e.g. for kids to run safely).

Located in the UNESCO biosphere reserve Entlebuch, right next to the ski slopes of Sörenberg, the family-run Hotel Go-In offers free WiFi and a terrace providing views of the surrounding mountains. We liked this funky room and restaurant. And breakfast was good. And the womans that works there, was really nice and helpful.

Located in the village of Luthern in the Canton of Lucerne, Gasthof Krone offers a restaurant, a sauna, and a bowling alley. Free Wi-Fi is available. This was a wonderful location for a multiple night stay so we could explore the area and parts of bike route 399 on our rented (rentabike in Willisau) ebikes. Excellent breakfasts and dinners. We will be back!!

Very nice, clean and welcoming place to stay. We only stayed one night, but it was very comfortable and we’ve had everything we needed. We didn’t realise that breakfast was included as I don’t think the description is mentioning it, so it was very nice surprise when the owners have kindly offered us complimentary breakfast in the morning. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you for your warm hospitality and we hope we will stay in your lovely guest house again

Located in the centre of Hildisrieden and only 2 km from Lake Sempach Hotel zum Roten Löwen offers an à la carte restaurant with regional specialities made of local ingredients. Very traditional Gasthof! Rooms are spacious, a bit older decor, but everything was super clean and in great working condition. Food is excellent too!
