Bed & Breakfast Region Murtensee is set in Münchenwiler, 5 km from Murten, 25 km from Bern and 13 km from Fribourg. This place is by far the largest room we have in our 2-week long trip in Europe. It is a nice large studio with an extra bedroom. Some views to the village street, goats and hills at the distance. Nice and quiet. No AC, but it was fine for us in early September. I'm not sure how it is in the heat of summer. Breakfast brought to our room in the morning, very nice host who likes to please her guests. Pay with cash.

Accessible via funicular only and enjoying a mountaintop location, Plan-Francey is set a 5-minute funicular ride from Moleson, 31 km from Lausanne. Great location with a beautiful view Friendly Staff Raclette night was great Strong WiFi

The family-run Hotel Jura is located in Kerzers in the canton of Fribourg, 25 km from Bern and 30 km from Fribourg. It offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional Swiss restaurant.

Amid the rolling hills of the Sense district, 20 minutes' drive from Berne and Freiburg, Schloss Ueberstorf - Tafeln, Tagen, Träumen offers elegant, historic-style rooms and creative cuisine.

Boasting a terrace, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Auberge du Guintzet is set in Fribourg, 6.2 km from Forum Fribourg and 34 km from Bern railway station. Low price (for Switzerland). Accessible by car without having to go through city centre traffic. Clean bathrooms and showers. Quiet rooms. Restaurant on the floor below (so you can have a beer after getting home) (I didn't notice any noise from restaurant guests at all).

The Hotel du Grand-Pré is situated in green surroundings on the outskirts of Marly, 3 km from the centre of Fribourg. It was a one night stay while traveling so I can't say much.
