El Waldgasthaus Lehmen está rodeado de naturaleza virgen y se encuentra a 4 km de Weissbad, en el cantón de Appenzell. Ofrece habitaciones de estilo alpino y una terraza restaurante con encanto. We stayed 2 nights beginning of June. If you like traditional places, you should visit Waldgasthaus Lehmen. You would be surrounded by natural forest with a view on Appenzell Alps. One of the most common sound during the day is various bells on cow necks. We were lucky to see how Appenzell farmers bring their cows to the mountains. The farmers have very beautiful cloths! On Saturday we saw a group of farmers, who came in their traditional dresses to Lehmen restaurant and had a few hours of singing and enjoying food. The restaurant is very good, if you like Swiss food. You must be hiking in that region, otherwise food might be too heavy. I had pork steak, pork schnitzel and beef steak with noodles and mushrooms. All dishes were very tasty. You have to try local beer! And Lehmen whisky! Highly recommended! Very nice! Service is impeccable, fast and attentive. All personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! I would prefer, if it started at 7 instead of 8… Our room 17 was great, soft pillows, comfy beds, bath, simple but cozy design. The hotel has a playground for kids. Parking is huge.

El Loosmühle está situado a 1,5 km del remonte de Schwende y a 3 km del remonte de Ebenalp y ofrece una panadería, un bar y una cafetería. La ubicacion es excelente. Weissbad esta cerca de todo, mejor que Appenzel. Ademas te sale mas barato ir a Wasserauen o Brulisau porque estan en la misma zona de transporte, no como Appenzell. Weissbad es un pueblo hermosisimo, enserio el mas lindo que conocí. Las instalaciones estaban muy bien, todo limpio.

El Hotel Restaurant Belvedere, de estilo palaciego, goza de una ubicación tranquila en Weissbad y está rodeado por un parque con césped para tomar el sol y parque infantil. The location was ideal. The owner and his wife and staff were very kind and helpful.

El Landgasthof Eischen, renovado en 2012, está situado a los pies de la cordillera Säntismassiv y la montaña de Kronberg. Ofrece un restaurante tradicional de Appenzell con terraza y una zona de spa. The view was amazing, room was so comfortable and the entire property was beautiful! The staff was so kind and welcoming too!
