When I woke up in the morning to dining in a room surrounded by exquisite folk art along w/exceptional Canadian painters work I thought I was in a dream. Sebastian is a true professional hotelier. Located in Sainte-Famille, Auberge au Poste de Traite offers an on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available. A TV, air conditioning and view are included in each room at this inn. The buffet breakfast has everything you would ever want or need….regional items such as waffle bits with local maple syrup, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses and other breads, too. You will not walk away hungry! But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.

This friendly little hotel on the island of Orleans along the Saint Lawrence. River is a 20-minute drive from downtown Quebec City. It has 15 beautiful air-conditioned rooms with river views. The location is spectacular !!!! Having a room right at the water to walk out was the best !!
