The nearest airport is Mount Gambier Airport, 8 km from the inn. Checkin is at the bar, all went fine. There's a big parking lot you can use behind the hotel. There was a slight mishap with our room, which was however handled in a very professional way and immediately corrected. The room is quite large and rather new, with a big bathroom and ample space for our luggage. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs with a nice choice of wines and there's also the possibility to order a breakfast in the morning. The location is right in the middle of downtown, perfect to walk around the city but the rooms are really quiet, even though the main road is just next to the hotel. Loved the town itself, there's a lot of history here, but also interesting geology in downtown and close by with the lakes. Worth a stop.

Originally opened in 1876, the historic Prairie Hotel is located in Parachilna. It offers an on-site gourmet restaurant, a bar and an art gallery. Accommodation options include single, twin and triple rooms. A unique experience in an outback location. Ellie and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dining experience was second to none, with surprisingly tasty feral food, beautifully presented. There was great tasting craft beer on tap. The room and ensuite bathroom were well appointed and comfortable. The Nilpena Station fossil tour was extremely interesting and we are so glad we were able to do this with Ross Fargher.

Deep Creek Conservation Park is 16 km from Second Valley Cottages and Lodge. The nearest airport is Kingscote Airport, 87 km from the inn. The guy greeted us at the carpark, very nice and accomodating. Location was amazing to see rapid bay, second valley and normanville beach. Room was very clean and tidy. It has everything you needed. Highly recommended!

Pier Hotel is situated overlooking the beautiful Boston Bay and foreshore. It is conveniently located in the town centre, just 1 minutes' walk from the beach, local shops, cafes and supermarkets. Free WiFi is included. Lovely clean room, looked like it dad been recently renovated. Toilets were a little dated but still clean and functional. The staff at check-in were very helpful and friendly as were the bar and restaurant staff. Location was fab, only a five minute walk to the main drag with lots of shops and foody places.
