Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Super helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Enjoyed using a canoe. Be sure to spring for a room with bath. We went with a room with bath down the hall. Very small room and bed so so. We cked out the room with bath and they were a good bit better with view of the lake, definitely worth the small amount extra. Don't make my mistake because Big Moose is a lovely inn.
The manager/owner,Mark, was great, very friendly and easy to talk to. He upgraded us to a larger room without our asking. The dinner was OUTSTANDING, great chefs! And a very nice breakfas t
Breakfast was awesome. I liked being able to choose what we wanted and the waitress serve us. I love the view from the front deck. Picture perfect. I enjoyed the use of the kayaks. The dinners served there were excellent. The staff was great and I would recommend anyone to stay there.
The setting was wonderful and the character of the inn was very nice as were the staff of the hotel. Having access to canoes and kayaks was a bonus.
