The cottage was beautifully renovated with lovely rustic detail and thoughtful touches throughout to make you feel welcome. Super comfortable beds too for a good night's sleep. Zoe, the host was very responsive and helpful, and responded to all our queries very quickly. Would 100% book again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful dinner of the owners’ beef & good breakfast next morning. We were walking Two Moors Way which goes past door so perfect location. Breakfast was good and so was dinner. The staff were polite and friendly, and very accommodating to our little rescue dog. We loved the fact that the hotel was so close to beautiful local walks (literally across the road from the Inn).

Food wise, loved the breakfast and the steak dinner - the steak was memorable and among the best I've had! The staff were friendly and it was a pleasant environment. It is set in a lovely area with lots to explore on the coast and on the moors. The room had tasteful decor and was very comfortable.

From the welcoming staff, beautiful large comfortable room, excellent food. We chose the Forest Inn for its location initially which was also ideal. Will definitely recommend.
