The George Hotel had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, it was busy (but not rowdy) with people enjoying themselves drinking outside in the sun and in the restaurant. Nice decor throughout and our room was spotlessly clean. The food at dinner & breakfast was exceptional and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Really fabulous stay. Lovely rooms, individually decorated, friendly staff, and great meals (dinner & breakfast). I understand it's under a recent management change, and boy does it show. Really friendly and a superb place to stay in the heart of Easingwold.

Such a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which was delicious. An amazing value for money for the quality you get. We will be back.

I was astounded at the simplicity of the 'hotel'. A few rooms above an Indian restaurant - so dinner was taken care of! - clean, well equipped and furnished. The location was easy to get to but quiet - not far off the A19 but out of Easingwold, yet easy to get to anywhere

Location, ease of parking, excellent dinner, adequate room, friendly staff and comfy big bed (king sized advertised but probably two singles pushed together as standard length). For overnight break in long journey south it did everything expected of a ‘pub with rooms’.
