The location was perfect - right across the street from the start (for us) of the Cotswold Way. The staff was friendly, the room clean and comfortable. We did not eat dinner there, but the breakfast was very good.

The property is located central to the town. The building is well kept and continues the rustic theme of the entire town. Parking is very convenient. The staff were fantastic, very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was delicious and fairly priced for the area. Although we did not take our dog the welcome of dogs was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean with great facilities.

We had a hamburger with trimmings and fries with a Caesar salad and fish and chips for dinner. The hamburger was one of the tastiest I have had and the fish was delicious. Excellent beer as well. Breakfast was cooked to order with a wide range of choices from hot cereal and fresh Greek yogurt with fruit to eggs with meats or smoked salmon or vegetarian choices. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Great location near restaurants.

The room was a little rustic, but clean and comfy. It was nice to have a little couch to sit on after a long day of hiking around. The breakfast was very good and the dinner we enjoyed in the pub far exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great sunset view of rooftops from the top of the stairs.
