Set amongst historical Tudor buildings, Woolpack Inn is located just off the A28 road. Ashford can be reached in 20 minutes’ drive, and Canterbury’s picturesque centre and cathedral are a 15-minute drive away.

We ended up having dinner there, GREAT choice! We enjoyed the BEST roasted chicken dinner we have ever had at a restaurant. We do a lot of cooking at home and consider ourselves to be pretty decent cooks, most restaurants turn out to be just OK. Our meal here exceeded our expectations by a mile!

Hot freshly cooked well presented breakfast. Helpful receptionist. Room was spotless & recently refurbished. Just surprised that it wasn't a king size bed like travel lodge & premier inn rooms. Superb location easy walk to town centre.

Really nice separate annex - warm, spacious, nicely decorated and well maintained with great parking. Small kitchen with fridge, hob and microwave (no oven) could be useful if you're staying there longer than I was - pub nearby worked well for dinner too ! (although you do have to walk about 100mtrs of unlit country road without a pavement to get to the village, which was interesting on a dark winters night so take a torch/phone). Host very welcoming. Patio and seating outside look like it would be a great thing to have in summer.

Booked as a Christmas gift for myself and my husband, 1 night stay. All staff were very welcoming throughout our stay. Was nice to sit in front of a big open fire having a few drinks. Decided to have dinner out at the Jackdaw Pub,, 3 mins drive away, highly recommend. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend for a relaxing night away, and if you love history.
