The food was good: quality ingredients, well cooked ( we had breakfast and just one dinner). The inn is very attractive, with historic features, and the surrounding gardens very pretty. We liked the location out in the countryside in the picturesque village of Bardwell.

The rooms were separate from the pub but could not fault anything. The room was large, quiet and spotless. We stayed for dinner as well as breakfast and both were of a high quality, the evening meal good value. Both lady staff members were excellent. Would stay again.

The staff were very friendly, they were having a private party in the garden in the evening, which we were made to feel welcome to join & thoroughly enjoyed the 80’s music. It was a hot evening, so the staff got us an electric fan to use, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked.TheresaYoung couple
