It was everything we wanted in a countryside escape and more - the pub had excellent food and great beers, the historical building and surrounding area were gorgeous, the room was cosy and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. Cosy comfortable bedrooms, with all the amenities we needed. The inn has beautiful stone fireplaces with lots of big sofas- we spent time inside playing from their selection of board games to avoid the rain!
