The name of the hotel has an unusual origin. Traditionally, the University of Oxford allowed their students to stable horses, but not the dogs. With nowhere else to house the animals, the proprietor of the local inn offered an invaluable dog-sitting service and the venue became known as the Dog House.

Room with a view (double room facing the Red Lion). 1 block from The Airline bus terminal (a great transit choice from Heathrow), walkable distance to railway station. Easy walk to all the top sites.
