In the winter, the guesthouse is only accessible by train or ski lift/gondola, giving you a very remote feel. Ski-in-ski-out accommodations are perfect for skiers, and you can get all the way to the town of Andermatt on skis. The views from the double bed with private bathroom room are phenomenal. It is definitely group living, expect to make friends over dinner and wine. You need to either ski or hike in with your belongings, so not suitable for everyone. The full kitchen was great as we cooked most days for dinner after skiing. The sauna was fantastic and the ski room even had a boot drying rack. We were a family of 4 which included a 17 and 19 year old and this house was well equipped. Good diningroom table for playing cards as well.
