Initially constructed in 1938, the Inn has been renovated and upgraded to keep pace with the amenities travellers require whilst retaining many of its grand historic features. Braeside Country Inn is a very quaint and unique gem in Nova Scotia! Braeside Inn is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place with history and character. Each guest receives our warmest hospitality and attentive care. We upgrade our facilities every year to ensure you have a wonderful experience.

Room was spacious and private with large windows with plenty of natural light. The whole place was spotless 10++!! The bed so comfortable and linens were very nice. The bathroom well appointed with essentials. Breakfast will exceed expectations and George makes the Best coffee 👍🏻 The Willow House Inn was absolutely the best accommodations on our whole trip! We hope to return again.

Barry and Prity were great hosts from giving us dinner recommendations (we loved Tilly's Kitchen!), loaning us chairs to take to the beach to sharing a bonfire with us on our last evening. Our party of 4 enjoyed our stay.

The town of Pictou was lovely and just a short walk. Owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfy and had a beautiful view. Parking good.

The breakfast was a nice change from the full hot ones usually served at B&Bs. I'm a tea drinker and appreciated the perfect pot of tea.
