Our host Rudolph went above and beyond to make our experience special. Instead of a mini bar, their was a large fridge in the common area filled with assorted beverages, including organic wine produced by his son. The facility was clean, simple and well maintained. Our host’s garden added even more charm. In the morning, our breakfast included fresh apple juice from their own fruit, jams from their apricots, fresh tomatoes and herbs from the garden and other locally sourced treats. He could be more friendly and accommodating. Because our trip to Loosdorf was due to our car breaking down, after breakfast Rudolph drove us to the repair shop to pick up our car.

We spent an amazing 4 days there. The breakfast was great, big selection of everything. There's also a restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, very very tasty. The room was very spacious, had a bath, a sitting area and a balcony. We loved the saunas, the pool and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was lovely, we ordered some eggs, you can juice fresh carrots and apples. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. The day of our check out we were able to use the wellness after checking out. We had it all to ourselves.

Just opposite the river is the Stift Melk.We are fortunate to have chosen to stay here. You could stroll along the Danube river after breakfast. The hotel has 60 rooms with a pool and sauna. From the roof terrace, you could see the entire Melk and the Abbey standing alongside Danube River. Very beautiful. We will stay here again the next time we are in Melk.MarianYoung couple
