Frida's Place is a private studio, attached to our house, in a peaceful location along the Eerste River, less than 200m from Dorp Str and the centre and hustle and bustle of our lovely town. The space with outside deck and garden area is completely private and you will have your own entrance and set of keys with a remote control to operate the alarm system. Parking is on our property and free of charge. Due to Covid 19 safety measures, our breakfast service is unfortunately not available but you are welcome to start your day with a great cup of coffee or tea on the patio!

I'm a Makeup Artist, lover of wine, Frida Kahlo and all things useful, meaningful and beautiful! My husband Ian and I are keen runners and gardeners. We love the outdoors and enjoy cooking and a glass of good wine at sunset or any other occasion really! Charlie, our lovely Miniature Schnauzer and Louis the British Cat, rules the roost and will soon give you the benefit of their opinion ;-). During our travels to weird and wonderful places we discovered which home comforts are really important. I hope we got it right for you. If not, please let me know. The central yet quiet location of our neighbourhood is perfect for walking and exploring the Oak lined streets, artisan coffee spots, many restaurants and eateries and boutique style shops on foot, or you can enjoy a wine tour and tasting at one or more of many award winning wineries in the Stellenbosch Winelands area. There are 2 groceries stores and 2 pharmacies within a 7 min walk and the laundromat is just around the corner. Uber is the most common means of public transport and is easy to use. Bicycle tours and rentals are available and I'm happy to provide you with recommendations. There are many bicycle and running/walking trails along the river to navigate! We have a combination of residential houses with families, children and older couples as well as pets in our street, with B&B's, a Florist, Dentist and Optometrist as well as a Burger Joint on the corner to complete the interesting picture!
