This old house was built in 1860 and is a ten-minute walk to Mainstreet, restaurants, Marktplatz, the Pioneer Museum, the Pacific War Museum. Also, just around the corner is Milam street that heads out to Enchanted Rock. This is a large house that sleeps 14 guests, but when the whole house is not booked, we block off some rooms to reduce cleaning cost and make it affordable for couples and small groups. And you will have the whole place to yourselves; there will be no other guest in the house. You will love it! You will have a minimum of a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals (except groceries and HEB is two minutes away.) We provide coffee, creamer, and orange juice. You will also have a dining room that seats eight, living room with a big tv, two and a half bathrooms, two bedrooms, one with an in-suit bathroom, and a library with books and games. There is also a large front porch along with a large back patio, a great place to hang out or to enjoy a meal at the patio table. The previous owner, B Brown Marsh (Diana’s mom) is an artist and the house is full of her wonderful artwork along with antiques and novelties.

Jerald and Diana Phillips are son-in-law and daughter of B Brown Marsh and took over the property in 2015. They have thoroughly enjoyed hosting groups. They live in a separate building on the property making it a perfect balance of availability and privacy for groups.

Peach Street is only a ten minute walk from Main Street, yet it is a quiet neighborhood. Just 100 feet away from the house is a walk bridge over Barons Creek leading to a park. From the bridge you can watch the fish in the creek or take an early morning or evening stroll to the park and you might see the deer that frequent the area!
