It is located in the heart of Triglav National Park at Vršič mountain pass. 10 km from Kranjska Gora, Erjavčeva koča @ Vršič pass provides simple accommodations, renovated in 2023, with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace with a fantastic landscape. Simplicity inside - luxury outside. Only 5 km from the source of the Soča River and 34 km from Bovec, the property offers a great starting point for hikes, a restaurant and a bar. It is the only mountain hut at Vršič Pass open the whole year. The mountain hut also features free WiFi and a paid airport shuttle service. With a shared bathroom equipped with a shower, rooms at the mountain hut (not a hostel) also offer a mountain view. All units include bed linen. At Erjavčeva koča mountain hut at Vršič mountain pass, you will find a restaurant serving international and European cuisine. The daily breakfast offers buffet, à la carte or continental options. Iztok Kurnik was rented and managed the Erjavčeva mountain hut since 2022. Before, as a photographer, he travelled to more than 83 countries and explored all national parks. At a younger age, he was a DJ, worked in the music business at Universal Music Group and managed the most successful rock band in Slovenia. He organised over 2000 concerts and events and holds the Victor Award for the sold-out stadium and MTV Music Award.
