Belém is the sweetest neighborhood in Lisbon and at the same time is a place with one of the greatest history in the capital. The neighborhood is a tourist destination for its two main monuments, the Torre de Belem and the Jerónimos de Belém Monastery and its numerous museums but also for its green spaces, its riverside along the Tagus and the Atlantic Ocean. Belém is also home for the most famous pastry shop in Portugal, Pastéis de Belém (you do not want to miss them).
