Apartment is exceptionally sunny and bright. There is a wonderful view of the Wawel Royal Castle and the Vistula River from the windows. During a spell of good weather you can sit on the balcony, enjoying a glass of wine and the view of the castle. The apartment’s size 100 square metres. There are two bedrooms, a small room with a sofa bed and a big living room. You can relax in a whirlpool bath after the whole day. The tenement house was built at the beginning of modernism in 1912. It is called Karol Tichy’s House. Tichy was an architect, painter and at the time the owner of this house. The apartment is decorated in an original way, with a lot of attention paid to combining styles and colours. Most furniture comes from the period of art deco, modernism and the 1960s. The owner has completed the Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Design. She is active in interior design which is, above all, her great passion. A part of modern elements is especially designed and made for this apartment. The upholstery fabrics are mostly hand-made from wool, using the method of felting . The guests will be treated to a welcome dessert with coffee or other home-made delicacies.

The apartment is located in the very heart of the Old Town, at the foot of the Royal Castle. Despite being located in the very centre, it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Opposite the house there is a square with a running track, a tennis court and a volleyball and basketball court. You can use it free of charge. Next to the building there is the Vistula Boulevard with moored ships, housing cafés and restaurants. Some ships organise cruises on the Vistula River, among others to the monastery in Tyniec in the suburbs of Cracow. There is a nicely landscaped site of Planty (Planty Garden Ring, a city park) nearby. In the vicinity there are numerous restaurants, cafés and shops. You can reach the Main Market Square on foot in less than 8 minutes. In the area there is an abundance of many historic churches, museums and art galleries.
