The most of the time you can find me in my antique shop Delpen Bokcafe – which is situated under the holiday flat Sundet. The next possibility is that I will be writing books about the history of Nyksund and people who lived here. The last most likely is that I will be in the fishing factory preparing some torkfish.

Property info

Hello :-) My name is Atle and this is 3-rooms holiday flat Sundet. Sundet is situated on the pier in Nyksund, a small, Norwegian fishing village with a unique history. This is the new fully furnished flat with two bedrooms – 2x double bed, private kitchen with kitchenware, private bathroom with shower and toilet, tables, chairs, wardrobes and sofa. You can enjoy view form all the rooms in the flat. Even when you brush your teeth :-) What can you see? Prestfjorden, Skogsøya and the part of the pier.

Neighborhood info

I think that you can find here everything what you might need: restaurants, bar, galleries, Delpen bokcafe - antiques, books but also waffles and coffee. If you want to buy food, you need to drive back to Myre. In Myre are f.e. Rema, Coop, Bunnpris…. The Northern sea is only cca 70 m from the flat. Hiking: I can recommend Dronningruta. The mountain Langøya is the starting point for doining Dronningruta from Nyksund. It is about 1,4 km walking from the flat. Geocaching: I know at least about too caches. However, Nyksund is a small village you can find here restaurants, bar, galleries, delpen bokcafe - If you are interest in hiking tours or renting bikes, I can recommend you the service of my friend in the neighborhood. Under the flat there is also possibility to do water sport – sea rafting, boat shuttle. Bird and seal watching and whale safari are also often searched. You can see northern lights cca from September to March you. After dark season is almost 24 hours of daylight coming from cca April to August. Nyksund can be the place for your next holiday memories.
