Tony (the owner) goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. He helped us book a taxi (45 euros to go to Sorrento) for 7 am the next day when we arrived at 9 pm the night before. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, delicious croissants, coffee and juice. You can dine there for other meals if you'd like. The view from the room was beautiful. The balcony was really nice. The room itself was massive, way bigger than I realized. Helpful things to know: There is an escalator from the beachfront up to the top that you can take for 1 euro. We took that and walked about 10-15 minutes each day to get to the train. The train runs about every 30 minutes and does not run on schedule. Piano is a nice, quiet little town with a few places to eat and snack.

B&B L'Approdo is just 33 feet from the sea in a small fishing hamlet on the Gulf of Naples. Once belonging to local fishermen, the B&B is only 10 minutes' walk from Piano di Sorrento Train Station. Set on 3 levels, L'Approdo offers rooms with private entrances and comfortable living areas. Each room is air conditioned and features free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms have a balcony and views of the harbor and Mediterranean Sea. An Italian breakfast of sweet items is served each morning. The restaurant, open during summer, serves fresh fish caught that morning. You can enjoy your meal out on the terrace overlooking the sea. Sandy beaches are just 164 feet away, while Piano di Sorrento center is 5 minutes away on foot. From the station you can catch the Circumvesuviana Line to Sorrento, 2 stops away, as well as Pompeii and Naples.
