The apartment is part of an old farm house located in a small village situated in the beautiful hills of the Chianti region. It is an ideal position for a relaxing holiday or for visiting Siena and the surrounding countryside. Indeed, the house is on the top of a little hill where you'll have a fantastic view over the beautiful landscape and it's a a good starting location for all the beautiful cities in the Chianti area. The tiny town of Quecegrossa is a 5 minute drive and has all the necessities: grocery store, pharmacy, post, dry cleaner and delicious gelato. It's also convenient for guests to have a nice restaurant (Osteria La Magione) right across the street.

The Chianti area in Tuscany offers a unique landscape, with green, gentle hills covered with wide fields of vineyards and olive groves, small stone villages, characteristic parishes and countryside homes in stone. The Chianti landscapes are so beautiful and particular that they inspire many photographs which then become postcards and calendars distributed across the globe. Main tourist locations nearby: Siena (9km), Monteriggioni (16km), Florence (41km) San Quirico d’Orcia (65) and Pienza (75km). At approx 1km you will find the water park Aqualis created from the restoration of a medieval mill, with 7 communicating swimming pools for adults and children. Directions from the North: exit the A1 motorway at Firenze Impruneta and at the roundabout take the first exit to Siena (raccordo autostradale) for approx. 50km. Take exit at Badesse, turn left following directions for Lornano. Continue through Lornano for approx. 3km and turn right at the first crossroads (following the directions for Quercegrossa); continue until you come to a dirt road on the right heading up hill. Take the dirt road and follow directions for Osteria la Magione and after approx. 500m you have arrived at destination. Directions from the South: exit from the A1 motorway at Valdichiana and follow directions for Siena. Continue allong the main road towards Siena for approx. 40km until you reach the Siena ring road where you follow directions towards Firenze. Continue along the ring road direction Firenze for approx 10km until you reach the exit Badesse. Exit at Badesse and turn left following directions for Lornano. Continue through Lornano for approx. 3km and turn right at the first crossroads (following the directions for Quercegrossa); continue until you come to a dirt road on the right heading up hill. Take the dirt road and follow directions for Osteria la Magione and after approx. 500m you have arrived at destination
