Located in the countryside with some distance between next farms, it offers peace and quit for those seeking tranquility while it's centrally located to explore different sites in short driving distance. There are mountains all around, most prominent being Vörðufell, Hestfjall and Hekla. The cottage is on a private property, with good parking space. It is easy to find and it's paved road the whole way from Reykjavík.
