As a host I, Divya enjoy sharing my knowledge of Bir and the surrounding areas as I have been living in the mountains since 2013. I also operate an experiential travel company called Wanderknots that operates across India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and China. We have curated Gliders Inn keeping in mind all the things we need when we travel and hope to pass on the same comfort to our guests. I'm an adventure enthusiast trained in mountaineering, a certified scuba diver and a black belt in Judo. I love animals, art, reading and learning just about anything new. As a host I, Yogi come with a decade long experience in Hospitality and F&B and love sharing my passion for food and travel with our guests. I also have a property-29 Beach House in Goa and spend my time enjoying the balance between the mountain and beach life. I also enjoy music, cooking and roadtrips on my motorbikes. Our guests especially love the food, hospitality and lifestyle that we offer. We're here to make sure you're comfortable, happy and as busy or not busy as you wish to be! Each of our rooms come with private washroom, a closet, private balcony, television, ambient lighting, bed side charging sockets, wifi with power back up and our most admired feature is the 8 inch extra long mattress that ensures you have a good night sleep. Our rooms also come with heating and cooling services that are additionally chargeable. Our common areas are perfect to relax and unwind, with three open to the sky terrace spaces where you can enjoy the views of the magnificent Himalayas and stargaze at night. We have an onsite cafe where we prepare fresh meals everyday with locally sourced ingredients. We are a community space where you can meet new people and engage in activities that include travel, music, art, food, events and workshops. We also have an elaborate Travel desk that will help make your journey more comfortable, we also help our guests travel across India with handpicked stays and specially curated local experiences. At our property we have licensed pilots for paragliding, hot air balloon ride, bunjee jumping, sky cycling alongwith in house scooty/bike and cab rentals. Our property is located in the main market bustling with cafes and a vibrant vibe. You can also enjoy the calmness of the Himalayas and listen to prayer chants as we share a boundary wall with one of the most beautiful monasteries of Bir. During your stay here you can enjoy living in our mountain home with gorgeous views of the mountains and sunsets. Guests can also stargaze at night from the terrace or enjoy a candle light dinner in the cozy comfort of their rooms. Bir is a beautiful place with lots of trails and paths to explore. You can access a lot of the nearby sites on foot or you can also hire a cycle, a scooter or a cab from our travel desk.
