Charlbury is an official Cotswold gateway town. It is located within the ancient boundaries of Wychwood forest and is an ideal starting point for a country walk and to explore the wonderful Oxfordshire Cotswolds and beyond. Charlbury Train station is a short 8 minute walk from the cottage making it the perfect place to commute to without a car, with direct trains from London, Oxford and Reading. There is also a bus stop 1 minute away from the cottage which takes you to neighbouring villages like Chipping Norton, Woodstock and to the city of Oxford.
