The location is so central, right by the old city walls. Very charming historic house with some old style, which means it is not as spacious but that adds authenticity and charm. Be ready to cozy up with your partner or friend. The best part is Kieran the host, who is a Derry native. If you have any interest in the history of Derry and The Troubles (and you should really read up on it, because it extends internationally), you should chat up Kieran. He is an impressive person with a wealth of international life experiences that are probably worth writing a book about.

Number 8 The Town House is in close proximity to the Historic City’s hub of Theatres, Music Venues, Bars, Shops and Restaurants and River Front. We offer high quality affordable bed and breakfast accommodation and offer all visitors a warm, natural welcome to our comfortable and relaxing friendly environment. The Town House pushes the boundaries of traditional accommodation with the owner and staff’s passion for, and intimate knowledge of the local cultural and entertaining fields. All visitors will be well and truly informed as to where to go and what to see, where to eat and where to relax, whilst all the time enjoying and experiencing all that Derry /Londonderry has to offer. Look out onto Derry’s 400 year old Walls while enjoying a nice tea or coffee in our ground floor Georgian panelled reception. Or take a few short steps on to The Historic Walls for a leisurely walk around the city.

No.8 The Town House will provide the opportunity for visitors to experience sleeping in an elegant Georgian Town House circa 1822 within walking distance to all that Derry has to offer. Each room is called after the seven gates, the original entrances into The Historic Walled City. No.8 is located right next door to the award winning Playhouse Theatre and Arts Centre and the International Centre for Contemporary Art all fronting onto the Historic Walls of Derry.
