Right in the heart of Puerto Rico is this beautiful, modern apartment. With everything you need to have a lovely holiday! Close to all shops, bars and restaurants as the main center is only 5 minutes walk away. The apartment has ceiling fans to keep you cool on those hot nights and a spacious balcony to sit outside and relax. The pool and surrounding area is lovely, with lots of sun loungers and a big pool bar. Serving food and drinks all day and evening. Open from 10.00 until late. Closed on Mondays. There is so much to explore in Gran Canaria. Lots of beautiful beaches nearby and towns and villages with all the traditional traits.
I've been living in Gran Canaria for 30 years. I love living here, it's such a great Island. Lush and green in the North and hot and sunny in the South. There is so much to do here, I'm sure you will love it too. The beaches are beautiful and the mountains have the most amazing views. There are many excursions to take you around the island and see the amazing sights.
There are some beautiful beaches nearby, Puerto Rico beach, Amadores and Anfi del Mar. Arguineguin is a lovely little fishing village, with a nice dark sand beach and little bars and restaurants along the front. Puerto de Mogan is a must and has a great market every Friday. If you want more tradition, head up to Fataga. It has lovely views of the mountain and nice tapas bars. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings that are full of nature. Las Palmas, the city, has a great atmosphere. Go for a day visit to see the sights. Taxis are very cheap and easy. You can flag them down in the street, as long as they have the green light lit on the roof. This means they are available. They can be cheeky, so make sure you agree a price before starting your journey and if you have the right change it is a bonus. There is also Taxi ranks in all towns. The main bus station is at the bottom of the hill. The bus service is very good and reliable. The buses only give one way tickets. But they are very cheap. There are many car rental shops at the main center. Just opposite the bus station, you have Angry Birds Activity park, for the kids. There is also a big Waterpark, called Aqualand in Maspalomas.
