At number 3 of the historic Milaneses street -a place that chronicles of the capital already speak of in the 10th century- stands this building that houses Madrid 1915 Private Suites. Built by architect Joaquín de la Concha Alcalde in 1915, it happens to be one of the best examples of the eclectic and luminous modernism of Madrid. The stairwells, bay windows, windows, moldings and decorative finishes inspired by art nouveau give the building its characteristic personality. An authentic jewel of 20th century architecture that recovers all its original splendor for the city thanks to a restoration that is as magnificent as it is respectful of its past. Since 2005, the roof of the building houses another unmistakable element of Madrid 1915 Private Suites, a bronze sculpture whose history is thus synthesized by its author, Miguel Ángel Ruiz Beato: «10,000 years ago, when a winged man returned flying quietly on his back while basking in the sun, he did not realize that an entire city had grown in the meadow where he landed. The result is this "accident"; a sculpture of oblivion ».
