Urban Glamping Tranquil Backpacking Village is situated on the main road of St Lucia, surrounded by restaurants and just across the street from the fresh fruit market. Great kitchen with all the utensils you may require. Added bonus is that they insisted on washing the dishes - I have stayed in many backpackers around the world and this is a first. Pool area well laid out with many areas to relax. Staff were helpful and friendly especially in providing advice on things to do around St Lucia . You can also book trips through them. I also liked that there were strict rules around quiet times so not really for people who want to party until late.

Located in Ballito, across the road from the beach and promenade, Ballito Backpackers offers a variety of accommodations and a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The location was in the exact place I was visiting , their staff brilliant and so is hygiene.

I really liked the privacy we had, although there were other guests we barely saw them. And our room was very clean and my daughter liked that. Also the bathroom was spacious. Let me not even get started on our hosts! They were absolutely amazing and awesome! It was our (me&my daughter) first time in Durban and they literally went out of their way to make sure we went to as many attractions as possible over the weekend,drove us around to wherever we wanted to go and took the time texplain to us what was what when we passed an historical site. Will certainly book them again when we go to Durban again.

The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful. The house is in a beautiful and quiet area, kept immaculately clean. Rooms are sanitized. I was impressed overall
