Located in Ethels Drive, Amphitheatre Backpackers Lodge offers panoramic views over the Northern Drakensberg. The quirky hostel has a rock pool, hot tub and a restaurant. Free WiFi is available. The lodge is located in the Drakensberg, very close to mountain activities and with a beautiful view. The rooms have all you need to be comfortable. The food in the restaurant is delicious and decoration of the entire place makes you feel very relaxed.

Located in Ballito, across the road from the beach and promenade, Ballito Backpackers offers a variety of accommodations and a 24-hour front desk. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The location was in the exact place I was visiting , their staff brilliant and so is hygiene.

I really liked the privacy we had, although there were other guests we barely saw them. And our room was very clean and my daughter liked that. Also the bathroom was spacious. Let me not even get started on our hosts! They were absolutely amazing and awesome! It was our (me&my daughter) first time in Durban and they literally went out of their way to make sure we went to as many attractions as possible over the weekend,drove us around to wherever we wanted to go and took the time texplain to us what was what when we passed an historical site. Will certainly book them again when we go to Durban again.
