The staff is lovely, very helpful and patient. There are several options to keep you busy around, between hiking and others and the cliff bath is a must-do!

Amazing hostel. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and funny. The dorm is spacious, clean and has comfortable beds. Activities are cheap and amazing. The food is tasty and very affordable. This is the perfect type of hostel for solo travellers to meet other travellers of every age and background. You can reach the place by taking a bus like citiliner or intercape to Mthatha, Coffee Shack will pick you up with their shuttle (160 rands for a 1.5 hour drive).

Second time I was staying at Ubuntu. It s a nice big house located close to the beach and shops, perfect if you want to surf in Jay bay. Staff is welcoming, friendly, Kiera - the awesome manager, is always helpful. I like that you can relax at many places inside the house, or on one of the balconies or outside. Nice and chill vibe every day.

Situated on a sand dune overlooking the Indian Ocean, Island Vibe Jeffreys Bay features a bar and restaurant as well as a communal, self-catering kitchen. There are also BBQ facilities available. Facilities were great, hot water with nice stream. Charmagne and tuffy were both really helpful with questions about the area and extending. Would highly recommend for someone looking to be by the beach

Situated just 300 metres from the beachfront, The Russel Guest House features a garden with large swimming pool and a covered BBQ area. Free WiFi is available throughout. The friendliness of the staff and the quick response to assist as booking.com had a glitch and booked me a family room and they understood when I explained I didn't book a family room and fixed it quick. Amanda and Pretty are wonderful hosts and kind.
