The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a tour desk and free WiFi throughout the property. Truly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was done so well! The dorm room was comfortable, with heavy curtains for the beds and nice shelves to put belongings. There were big lockers. The premises were beautiful - with art on the walls, pretty light fixtures, and comfy beanbags. There was a swimming pool and a pool table and plenty of space to chill and socialize. The in house restaurant was delicious! I had coffee there every morning and a passion fruit smoothie every afternoon. Delicious. Fantastic location - central to the island, but not noisy and crowded. And finally, amazing staff! They were all so kind and helpful. Linh even helped me get my motorbike out of a tough spot. I stayed here for 6 nights, and could have spent even more. I hope I will come back some day! Thank you to everyone who makes this hostel as wonderful as it it.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. What an amazing Homestay! I was originally going to be in Cat Ba for a single night, but extended it to three because of how comfortable this homestay was (one of the best I have experienced in Vietnam so far). It is run by a great family, and they are very good about making you feel comfortable and at-home. The rooms were very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the space was clean. I would highly recommend that you stay here if you are in the area! I had every question answered about Cat Ba by the first day, and was able to book motorbike rentals and tours through them :)

Situated on beautiful Cat Ba Island, The Oversleep Catba Hostel sits along Lan Ha Bay and is just a 10-minute walk from Cat Ba Market and steps from the ferry terminal. Rooms offer balconies with views of Cat Ba Bay or the city. This was probably the best hostel we’ve stayed in during three months travelling in the region. It’s very new so everything is in perfect condition, but it’s also all very well thought out. Plenty of storage space in the dorms, nice warm reading lights and good thick curtains around the beds to block out light. Bathrooms are great - very clean, with nice, powerful (and hot if you want) showers. The staff are also wonderful. Toby at the front desk is smiley, warm and always happy to help. Pa Pa in the restaurant/bar is such a beautiful soul and made us feel so welcome every time we walked in the room. The rest of the staff whose names I sadly don’t know made our stay that much better - always smiling and making us feel like we were staying in more than “just” a hostel. Thank you Toby, Pa Pa and everyone else in the team for everything you do!

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. I liked the atmosphere of Cat ba hostel. It was in the centre and close to everything. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The restaurant on the bottom floor was very good quality and I loved the free breakfast. It was very taste. The highlight for me was the attitude of the staff and employees, so friendly and caring. Very easy to sort any trips etc. I would also like to note an act of kindness by one of the staff members called Vu. I mistakenly left my clean laundry at the hostel and only realised when I was back in Hanoi. Vu had the laundry dropped down to a bus station where I collected it in Hanoi. A powerful act of kindness. Thanks Vu. Would 100% recommended This hostel.

The girl from the front desk, is very friendly and did her best to make us feel comfortable.

I spent three days in this beautiful place surrounded by mountains in the lush green nature! It's remote from city and that's it's previledge! There's great swimming pool and restaurant with good food! Staff was very helpful, they even picked me up from bus stop and dropped me off on day on my departure!! If I come again to Cat Ba I'll stay here for sure!! Thank you for everything!!
