This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a 24-hour front desk. Private parking is available on site. Everything about the hostel was amazing. Very clean and organized. The staff 10/10 😀 The tours they offer are a must. I met people from all over the world and had the best experience of my life! thank you!!!!

Each all-male or female dormitory room provides a shared fully equipped kitchen, a TV, and a lounge at HI - Honolulu University Hostel. Towels and linens are provided at check in. Lockers are provided and guests' are encouraged to bring their own padlock. I had a great stay! Shu, her sister and her husband are the best! They are very kind and helpful. The bedroom and the bathroom were spotless. There’s a beautiful garden around the hostel. They care a lot, and it’s a safe place. Near the hostel are different bus lines for all directions. The other guests were amazing.

The staff on the front desk were extremely helpful and so kind. Smallish sized lockers for each person to lock away personal items. Room was clean had a sink, fridge and own bathroom in the dormitory. Less than 5 min walk to the beach.

Location, location, location. Perfectly near Waikiki beach. So bang for buck really hits the mark. $$$$ wise it was budget but great location. Dated rooms, dated building but location for t he $$$ was fantastic.

For the price which was considerably cheaper than other hotels, it was a good hotel. Loved being able to use beach towels, water bottle refills and Kurig coffee machine. Don't expect a luxury hotel as it is not, but it is clean and well maintained for the price we paid. Great location.

Large room, good view. Very well sound proofed and comfortable bed. Suits business traveller well as safe and central with good internet. Be great to have information about local buses as there seemed to be quite a few that would have been good to use if there was some information on the routes.

This hostel was amazing. I've stayed in lots and this trumps all of them hands down. The grounds and shared spaces were all kept so well. So laid back and chill. 2 minute walk to the beach. Felt safe to walk around not like being in a big city. Met some excellent people on my stay and we all had a great time cooking and hanging out on the deck. Comfy beds. Outdoor showers were a nice touch. Bernie is amazing and will do his best to accommodate you in anyway.
