The location of this place can't be beat, right in the middle of DC. The beds are clean and made fresh for each guest. There is a kitchen available where a simple but delicious breakfast of pancakes, coffee/tea and lemonaide is served. There are computer terminals available, and the wifi works well (I did work from my laptop). The staff is friendly and helpful. They are patient answering all questions. I commend them for keeping their cool and can tell they sometimes deal with unusual guests.

DC International Hostel 1 is located in Mount Vernon Square, 1 km from DC convention centre and from Old Dominion Brew House. Free WiFi access is available. The staff that checked me in was really nice. That room was small, but enough for a few nights.
