Situated in Banská Štiavnica and with Kremnica Town Castle reachable within 45 km, HoStel Cosmopolitan* features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi... This is the prettiest hostel i have ever stayed in. The rooms are very nice, you have a locker with key provided free of charge. The room is spacious and you have a space for yourself, there is also big commom area and kitchen when u can prepare your food. The location is amazing for seeing the town, there is great pizza place right in front of the hostel and local store few mins away:).

Hostel Skautský dom is set in a historic building in the UNESCO-protected town of Banská Štiavnica, next to the Old Castle. It offers a garden with a terrace, playground and barbecue facilities. So calm and peacefull. It is modest, but approperoate to price. Clan, with helfull staff.

Hostel Turist is situated in a quiet part of Zvolen town, only 500 metres from the D1 highway and a 5-minute walk to the town centre. Around 12 minutes walk from the bus and train stations this is an excellent option for value for money tidy accommodation. The river is a few minutes away for a walk/run and there are supermarkets nearby for food shopping (since there are no local markets any more this is the alternative). Spacious room for 1 person but even for 3 it would be comfortable. Staff really lovely - all in all ideal for what I needed for the working week.
