Piteå Vandrarhem is located in the building which was formerly Piteå's first hospital. Located in the beautiful Badhusparken with the peaceful adjacent canal and walking distance to downtown. I got four beds for the price of one. If other people are in the same situation, it explains why the hostel was so nice and quiet even though it was fully booked. I really had a good night here. Also the location was great.

This hostel is 2 km outside Kalix town centre and only 2 minutes’ drive from the nearest supermarket. Guests can cook and dine in the fully equipped communal kitchen. It s very clean and tidy. The host was super nice. very reactive and helpful. The location is good for joining polar explorer ice breaker. Absolute good value for money.

The rooms were great, and very clean. Lotta’s artworks were beautiful and brightened the place up. The kitchen was excellent and the common areas were tastefully decorated. The view from our window looked out towards the river which was lovely.

Good access after regular check-in time, the key-box worked perfectly. There was a sauna. Free parking close to the entrance. Big and clean kichen for common use. Quiet area. The building was not overcrowded.
