From looking at the photos online we just expected a nice and clean room to spend the first nights on the Azores. But it turns out they also had a beautiful garden, organized a great breakfast every morning with other people and scheduled some tours. The room was also bigger than expected (although our host told as at arrival that we had the biggest room, so that was maybe just luck.) with nice furniture and a very comfortable bed. Strongly recommended! :)

Loving Strangers Hostel ligger i Madalena och erbjuder en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. Boendet har karaoke och ett gemensamt kök. By far the best hostel we've stayed. Great location, wonderful host. Amazing dinner. You should definitely stay here if you're exploring the island!

First of all the lady who manages the hostel is an amazing person. She gave me a lot of information and made sure my stay was just perfect. The room had comfy bed and nice terrace on the Monte Brasil. Amazing breakfast. Super good position, in the middle of city center and very close to a public free parking lot.

Aliança café & hostel ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, 5 minuters promenad från Zona Balnear da Prainha strand, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering. Great location; very central in Angra, close to the beach and several restaurants. There is also a fun plaza right in front where you can grab a coffee or drink at any time of the day. Easily accessible by taxi or car from the airport (approx. 15 minute drive). The private room was comfortable, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Contrary to other reviews, the room is quite soundproofed. The café downstairs is very convenient and lively. They serve brunch on the week-ends (not included $), which was great as breakfast options are sometimes limited (especially on Sundays when everything is closed).

Azores Inn - Family Suites ligger i Ponta Delgada, inom 24 km från Lagoa das Sete Cidades och 25 km från Lagoa Verde. Amazing little Inn right in the heart of town! Easy walking to shops and restaurants. Very nice and spacious rooms with very comfortable beds! Check in was very simple. Big shared kitchen with amenities for breakfast in the morning. Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel ligger i Horta, 6 minuters promenad från Praia da Conceição och 2,6 km från Praia do Almoxarife strand. I had a very nice stay here, thank you!

PDL Green House ligger i Ponta Delgada, 12 km från Pico do Carvao, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en terrass. Everything was excellent, very clean, bed was very big and comfortable, a fridge, coffee maker and all kitchen utensils were included and in great condition. Perfect central location. Overall a great place to stay, no complaints
