The energy in this place is incomparable. The pool is so nice and Peyo and Babette, the hosts, are very nice and welcoming. I would 100% stay at Sunset Surf Camp again. The wifi works very well, the kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are comfortable and clean (I stayed in a single bedroom). I also met some amazing people during my stay here so if you are a solo traveler, this is PERFECT for you. The beach, bakery and convenience store are an 8min walk from the hostel. There is also a bar right next to it which is really fun for dancing, meeting people and having good drinks. I can’t wait to come back!

The main building of Germaican Hostel features 2 private double rooms and 2 dorms, along with 2 communal bathrooms. You can also book a private bungalow with an en suite bathroom and sea views. We loved the breakfast, the hosts (especially the cute baby ;) ), the surroundings (the beautiful jungle), the view, the babyfoot games, the rides in the truck. Marian is very nice and helps you if you have any problem. It’s a real hostel where you can feel that Marian and Anna welcome you warmly in their home. A lot of different people go there, be prepared to meet a lot of nice people !
