Punta Huanchaco Hostel in Huanchaco biedt accommodatie alleen voor volwassenen met een gedeelde lounge, een terras en watersportfaciliteiten. Gigi and Dario are some of the nicest people I’ve met in my many years of traveling in Peru. The vibe of this hostel is fantastic, and I had amazing conversations with everyone I met while staying here. Hot water, comfy bed, and lots of animals to love on made this the perfect place for me to stay. Gigi even gave me a front door key after I checked out to make sure I could come back and hang out in the public areas, which I really appreciated!

ATMA Hostel & Yoga ligt in Huanchaco in de regio La Libertad, op 11 km van Trujillo. Het biedt een zonneterras en uitzicht op zee. It is in a very convenient location, close enough to walk everywhere and far enough to enjoy some quiet time. The atmosphere is definitely not a party party one but still sociable and friendly. All common areas are always clean and they offer filtered water which in Peru is quite important. The space is well thought and distributed so despite being fully booked, there was always room to chill, despite kitchen sometimes gettin a bit crowded. Would come back again and again!

Strenua - Las Quintanas ligt in een winkel- en woongebied in de buurt van het historische centrum van Trujillo. This property is really nice, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything is clean, the rooms are spacious, at least the one we had. It included a bathroom, bedroom, a living room area, refrigerator, microwave. Our room here was bigger than some of the Airbnb properties we have been to. We thought it was nice that they bring your breakfast to you, since the rooms have a table area where you can eat. The shared kitchen has everything we needed. Hot water always available. The area that the hotel is in feels safe and is pretty close to everything, maybe 5 minutes' walk from the central plaza, very close to multiple grocery stores, lots of restaurants, etc. The place is located in a quiet street. The airport transfer service is reliable. Definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed in, if not the nicest.

Hospedaje Restaurante El Hombre heeft een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Puerto Chicama. The best Hostel in Chicama by far. Great atmosphere in a great location. Along with all other travellers I met in my time at el hombres we stayed longer than expected. All the rooms and amenities are incredibly clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen is well equipped and the restaurant down stairs will not disappoint. This hostel caters for all walks of life and the staff are always willing to help. I recommend El hombre’s to anyone passing through the area. I will be back.

My Friend Surf Hostal ligt op 30 meter van het strand El Helio, op 200 m van de hoofdstraat Los Pinos en de commerciële wijk. The staff, guests, facilities and restaurant were all outstanding!

717 Pizarro guesthouse in Trujillo biedt accommodatie alleen voor volwassenen met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Martín is very nice and helpful. He took me to see the murals (a hidden gem in Trujillo) because I was short on time and helped me organize a tour for the day. He was very flexible and welcoming. The place is well situated in the center. Bed was comfortable.

Los Burritos is a great place to stay for budget travellers looking for great value for money in an amazing location. The “small” room we booked was large and clean. Common areas include multiple terraces and a well equipped shared kitchen. Although there is a kitchen, check out the restaurant downstairs. The medium size pizza will feed 2 hungry surfers, and is very generous with toppings. Brian, the host, makes his own dough so the pizza is homemade from scratch. Finally, you can ask Brian anything and he will be happy to help you. Would happily return again.
