I don’t understand why this hotel doesn’t have 10 stars. It’s perfect. A summary of all the good things: 1. The deck. One day I literally spent the entire day at the deck, either reading a book in one of the beds, taking a swim, seeing sea-animals passing by, etc… 2. Breakfast is good and generous. I had the Caribbean breakfast every day. 3. Location is perfect. Just a few blocks far from “the noise”, yet close to several restaurants, grocery stores and to Bocas downtown. It’s walkable from/to the Almirante boats docks. 4. Staff was nice. 5. The room was perfect. 6. We took the advertised tour to Isla Zapatilla for $37, which I recommend. 7. Wifi was decent. Had a little glitch sometimes from the room, but acceptable. 8. We had a welcome drink/activity at night and used the paddle board for free on Thursday at 10am.

Bambuda Lodge is located in the tropical rain forest in Bocas del Toro. The property features a coral reef off its dock and a swimming pool with an on-site bar and a fun and social atmosphere. I have to say that it was one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. The hostel itself is clean, spacious and has a really welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are all friendly and helpful, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I had an amazing time here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to chill, read a book, meet new people, enjoy the nature and an amazing ocean view. A special thanks to my friend Marco that, as a part of the staff, was a huge factor in making my stay so amazing. I can't thank him enough for his kindness and hospitality, and I hope to stay at Bambuda again in the future. Finally, a shout-out to the kitchen chef! I had the best meals in Panamá because of his dinners! Thank you!

Hostal On The Sea is offering accommodation in Bocas Town. With a private beach area, the property also features barbecue facilities. The hostel provides a shared lounge. Martha was my mama in Bocas. She’s incredibly helpful and lovely. I extended my stay with her twice. Hostal on the sea is a great place- on the water, super close to town, clean and really close to shops/bakery/bars. Hostal del Mar - Main Street is located in Bocas del Toro, with excellent sea views. It is just 50 metres from the city’s restaurant and bar zone and 25 km from the airport. Perfect location in town with a beautiful view over the water. Wasn’t as loud as some of the reviews suggest. Staff were very nice.

Located 1 block from the seafront in Bocas del Toro, Spanish by the Sea – Bocas offers a communal kitchen and dining area, a garden, a space with lots hammocks and accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The hostel is also a school for teaching spanish. The staff and owner were really helpful, and they organized daily tours! The dorm I stayed in was female and only 4 beds. I pretty much had the dorm all to myself the whole time. It's not a party hard hostel and it was exactly what I needed. The wifi was fast and I had lots of work done. The location is great, not far from everything we needed. The facility was good, everything was very clean!

Such a cute place. Great for relaxing during the day and having fun at night (good for hanging out with the Friday crowd without having to pay for the whole thing). Staff was amazing and very friendly. Lots of spots to sit and chill too!!
