Newly opened and refurbished in October 2020, Wanderlust NZ is a waterfront hostel located in a historical building in downtown Tauranga. Location omis perfect just on the strand where all the bars and restaurants are. Nice common areas and very clean.

Best hostel hands down I’ve been to. They have a blow dryer and a hair straightener in the girls bathroom which I’ve never seen before and it’s super nice ! Everything was clean and calm and the location is great ! Big kitchen with everything you need and a dining area. Staff was wonderful!

Haka House Rotorua is located next to Kuirau Park which features geothermal activity. Room was very clean and shared bathrooms are well maintained. It has a well equipped kitchen.
