Stayokay Hostel Gorssel is located in a Norwegian-style hunting lodge set in the green Achterhoek area which is ideal for hiking and cycling. It offers a bicycle rental and packed lunch service. The value for the money was great. the breakfast was also good. There were small playground and some forest area that children can enjoy time.

Hostel Barbarossa is a youth hostel set in the historic city center of Nijmegen, 350 m from the Grote Markt. Most rooms feature a bunk bed, the private room have a Queen-sized bed. Well organized and very kind staff. Clean, comfortable mattress, kitchen furnished of everything you can possibly need even for a longer stay, everybody were very nice. The guy at the reception even provided me a place to have privacy because I had a work call and helped me to bring my baggage upstairs.

I had the best stay here, the dinner in the evening was hearty and delicious, the breakfast was amazing too. I had been on a huge bike ride through the Netherlands and staying here was so calming and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Extra points for such a beautiful playlist during my evening meal. It was gloomy and raining outside in the evening which made being inside even more cosy. There was plenty of room to hang out in the lounge area on the big comfy couch too.
