The location and the vibe of the place was just great! The caretaker Jude was also a very helpful host. He texted the location beforehand and helped me get a Tuk at a slightly cheaper price than Pick me or Uber. I felt very safe and comfortable there. Initially I was planning to stay just a night, but I booked another night as my plans changed. The common space is also very homely. I also got to meet the owners and they were also sweet people. They also have a wonderful Green-house and a well maintained lawn and gardens. If you're into English breakfasts they also have that there in the property. Overall my stay was fantastic and I would definitely want to return there. Great option for travelers who want to disconnect and rest

Funk Bunks - By The Lake es un alojamiento bien ubicado en el centro de Kandy que ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis, parking privado gratis y servicio de habitaciones. It was the cleanest hostel I stayed in during my 3 week trip in Sri Lanka. The staff were so accommodating and I really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast that was included.

Please do yourself a favour and stay at this guesthouse, it’s genuinely one of the best I’ve ever been to. It feels more like an in-vogue boutique hotel or your ‘cool’ aunt’s place. The location is perfect as it’s only a 5-minute tuk tuk or a leisurely 20-minute stroll into town but importantly you’re able to escape the chaos, dust and noise of Kandy. The living space, bedroom and bathroom are all spacious and clean, and the design and furniture in the space is amazing! What really stands out about this place though is the host. Jeevani feels like more of a friend than a host and some of my favourite memories of Kandy will be the conversations I had with her. She’s extremely kind and caring and has a lot of wisdom and life experience to share. Make sure you make time to have a conversation with her!

El Catch The Ella Train Hostel está situado en Kandy, a 500 metros de la estación de tren de Peradeniya y a 1,1 km del Real Jardín Botánico de Kandy. He tenido la mejor de las experiencias aquí. Asanka es un host increíble, iba a pasar sólo una noche para tomar el tren al día siguiente y decidí quedarme para recorrer con él los alrededores de Peradeniya. Me ha encantado. Es ideal para tomar el tren, la estación está muy cerca. Totalmente recomendado! I had such a lovely stay here. Asanka is a great host, I ended up extending my stay to explore the sorroundings and I aboslutely loved it. Great location to catch the train with the station really close by. Absolutely recommend it!

2in1 Kandy Hostel es un alojamiento muy bien situado en el centro de Kandy que ofrece wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento, salón de uso común y parking privado gratis. Hostel sencillo muy bien organizado y limpio. Cerca de la ciudad pero apartado del caos y el ruido con unas vistas bonitas. No le falta detalle. Es una opción excelente para tu estancia dn Kandy, muy conveniente para viajeros que buscan calidad y buen precio. Opción de hacer colada, excursiones etc a buen precio. Lo mejor de todo su Manager hace tu estancia agradable y te ayudará en todo lo que necesites, su ayuda y consejos harán tu viaje más fácil. No busques más, si buscas las 3 b, este es tu lugar.

El alojamiento es muy espacioso con luz y limpio, tienes una cocina por si quieres cocinar y diferentes terrazas con vistas preciosas, aconsejo el servicio del tuk tuk driver, calidad precio es excelente y te lleva por todas partes, incluido los restaurantes locales, el conductor es muy simpatico y honesto, lo recomiendo para moverse por Kandy

Banana Bunks Kandy, que tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis, está en Kandy, a 2,3 km de Estación de tren de Kandy y a 2,6 km de Centro comercial Kandy City Centre. It is such a cool and quirky little spot. The room was decorated nicely and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was delicious especially the fruit bowl! It’s the first place on my Sri Lankan trip that has given me mango! This has been our nicest accommodation so far.

It’s very clean and quiet but at the same time very social. I met lots of travellers during my stay here. All the staff are lovely. They make you feel at home and fulfill all your needs from the moment you arrive. I’ll definitely be back!
