The House Hostel features complimentary breakfast and is located in Sokcho. Free WiFi access is available. The bus terminal is 5 minutes' walk away. Everything. The host was very nice, he spent with us maybe 20-30 minutes, showing on the map all the places to visit. Literally after his speech we didn't need to use google, because we knew everything, including prices, buses we need, etc. And hostel was really good too. We had even refrigerator, air conditioning, tv and bath in our room. And common areas were pretty too. It was my best stay in Korea so far

Aark House is a compact hostel located within a 5-minute drive from Gangneung Train Station (Yeongdong Line). Free WiFi access is available in all areas. It was local house with all needed facilities and the owner was very kind and warm! Single bed room was very comfortable with nice bedding sheet. Its totally worth for price and i would visit again

Located within 35 km of Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza and 1.4 km of Gangneung Station, Dal Garam Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gangneung. The host was super kind! They compiled a booklet with useful knowledge and compiled a list of restaurants and dishes to try in the area. Very clean and pretty house. Bonus: Freshly brewed coffee.

Situated in Sokcho, 70 metres from Lighthouse Beach, Mr. Slow features rooms with sea views and free WiFi. Beautiful view, very comfortable bed well equiped rooms with a cafe right below. Seems to only have 2 rooms available, we booked both and each has a totally different layout. Both rooms are lovely. No lift, and rooms are on level 3 and 4. It's okay if no old folks or huge luggages to carry. But would totally still recommend this place to stay, and if possible more than 1 night to enjoy the space.

The communal area was lovely and well kept. The shower was very powerful which was lovely after a very cold evening. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, will be booking in the future

Best experience.with host Madam FuYi who made us wonderful breakfast and helped us get a cab to nearby ski resort..Super thankful for this wonderdul stay. A++++++++
