Conveniently set in the Ikuchi Island district of Setoda, Cycle Guest House SHIOKAZE is set 25 km from Saikon-ji Temple, 28 km from Saikokuji Temple and 29 km from Senkoji Temple. Location is quiet at night, spacious room , refrigerator to store snacks, and a good option if you’re cycling the route in two days. Also a powerful shower to cleanse the day’s grime. Helpful staff !

Located 400 metres from Aeon Hiro Shopping Mall, おとまち 甘藍 Otomachi Kanran offers 1-star accommodation in Kure and features a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. The hosts were lovely! Hostel itself had a cool setup with the common area turning into a bar at night. Highly recommend.

Situated conveniently in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, 島宿Nest is set 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple and 31 km from Saikokuji Temple. Tsukasa went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay in Setoda. Great communication, very friendly and was able to provide lots of information about the area. Good value, very convenient location and a nice view from our room. Communal lounge area and rooftop also available for guests.

Located in the centre of Hiroshima, RED HELMET House & Sports Bar Hiroshima is situated less than 1 km from Myoei-ji Temple and a 11-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. My favourite hostel out of 20+ I’ve stayed in while in Japan! This place is AWESOME! Firstly, the location is great - only 8 mins walk to the main JR station and super close to convenience stores and really nice okonomiyaki restaurant. The owner even made a map with recommendations. The owner is so nice and speaks really good English. The whole time I was there the place was absolutely spotless, so so clean even for Japan. And, uncommonly for Japan, there was a really big common area/lounge with loads of games, books and things for you to hang out with where you can meet people and chat. Capsule was spacious and comfy, the bedding was also very soft and I slept so well when I was there. No noise or disturbance from the sports bar downstairs. This place is a must stay in Hiroshima, especially if you’re a solo traveller!

Hostel Mallika is located in the Hiroshima City Centre district in Hiroshima, 400 metres from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 700 metres from Atomic Bomb Dome. The owner and receptionists are fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. Great location.

This hostel is really good, the stuff is so friendly and always tries to help, the dorm and common area is very clean. Highly recommended

Opened in June 2017, Hiroshima Hostel EN is a hostel combined with an on-site restaurant. I was here already once before and liked it so much that I came back! The staff is super nice, you meet nice people and it offers you all you need.
