Beautiful quiet location, staff really personable and helpful which was a benefit of a small hostel. Bedroom basic and small but perfectly adequate. Breakfast great !

The YHA Ambleside sits on the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. It offers a range of budget accommodation and a café serving local food. I booked the quadruple room with ensuite bathroom. The view was facing the lake. Parking is just infront of the hostel (maybe due to low season I managed to park there). But if you need to park at the paid parking, it's still very near. Fish n chips shop just a few steps away from the hostel. There's a good restaurant/ cafe inside the hostel aswell. & you can take the cruise package just infront of the hostel. Overall, it was an awesome stay!

Denton House ligger i marknadsstaden Keswick i hjärtat av Lake District National Park, bara 5 minuters promenad från Keswicks fritidscenter. WiFi och parkering är gratis. The location was beautiful! It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and just over 10 minutes to Derwent Lake. My bed was in the annex with the main building with all the kitchen/dining area/common room in the neighbour building about 5 metres away. I loved everything!

Fisher-gill Camping Barn ligger i Thirlmere och erbjuder gratis parkering och en terrass. I had the most wonderful time here! The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!

Kirkby Stephen Hostel har ett centralt läge, 4 minuters bilresa från tågstationen, mellan Cumbrias Lake District och Yorkshire Dales. It's a old chappelle transformed in a hostel... it's just an awesome experience. the lounge is just beautiful.

YHA Helvellyn ligger på den cumbriska landsbygden, bekvämt beläget för att besöka Lake District. Här finns gratis parkering och en bar. The views are breathtaking. Everything was green and we even had a swim on the river which you can see from your window. The staff were super friendly and it was a pleasure to be there. Shower super clean and rooms cozy but everything clean and comfortable. Also, there were almost 20 different games to play in the living area

The White Horse Inn and Bunkhouse ligger på den cumbriska landsbygden i Lake District National Park. Här erbjuds sovsalar, gratis parkering, gratis Wi-Fi i allmänna utrymmen och en pubrestaurang. Easy to get to! Location is one of the best.
