The YHA Ambleside sits on the shores of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. It offers a range of budget accommodation and a café serving local food. I booked the quadruple room with ensuite bathroom. The view was facing the lake. Parking is just infront of the hostel (maybe due to low season I managed to park there). But if you need to park at the paid parking, it's still very near. Fish n chips shop just a few steps away from the hostel. There's a good restaurant/ cafe inside the hostel aswell. & you can take the cruise package just infront of the hostel. Overall, it was an awesome stay!

Localizado na cidade mercantil de Keswick, no centro do Parque Nacional Lake District, o Denton House fica a apenas 5 minutos a pé do Centro de Lazer de Keswick. The location was beautiful! It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town and just over 10 minutes to Derwent Lake. My bed was in the annex with the main building with all the kitchen/dining area/common room in the neighbour building about 5 metres away. I loved everything!

Localizado em Thirlmere, o Fisher-gill Camping Barn oferece estacionamento gratuito no local e terraço. I had the most wonderful time here! The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!

Com uma localização central, a 4 minutos de carro da estação de trem, o Kirkby Stephen Hostel fica entre o bairro de Cumbria e Yorkshire Dales. It's a old chappelle transformed in a hostel... it's just an awesome experience. the lounge is just beautiful.

Situado na paisagem campestre de Cumbria, convenientemente localizado para visitar o Lake District, o YHA Helvellyn oferece estacionamento gratuito no local e um bar. The views are breathtaking. Everything was green and we even had a swim on the river which you can see from your window. The staff were super friendly and it was a pleasure to be there. Shower super clean and rooms cozy but everything clean and comfortable. Also, there were almost 20 different games to play in the living area
